ACKEEMAMA
is the only reggae band in our country with a heavy drive, original arrangements , energetic and vivid presentation, everlasting positive vibrations and impressive female vocals. They were the first to proclaim the death of roots reggae was left in 20th century and to raise the banner of urban reggae. Music of Urban Reggae Band "ACKEEMAMA" is freedom + positive vibrations. Their reggae is called "urban", "creative" and even "neuroparalytic". The labels do not matter. Important is to mention that "ACKEEMAMA" is an exceptional phenomenon in reggae culture.

From 2003
the band constantly gives concerts, comes out strong on different concerts in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, "ACKEEMAMA" becomes one of the prize-winners of a "Navodnenie" festival,the final of which was held in Lensoveta recreation center. A song named "St.-Petersburg" on German is included into "Navodnenie" compillation, which was published on CD. The band takes part in reggae fest in Italy.

In 2004
the band begins to successfully organize concerts in Saint- Petersburg., such as "Red Sunsplash" , " Jamaican New Year", " Bob Marley`s Birthday"

In 2005
moscow company "Misteriya Zvuka" publishes the first Russian-language album of U.R.B. "ACKEEMAMA" - "Urban". The band takes part in music shows on " The 5th" and "STO" TV channels.Songs from the album are rotated over the "ROKS" radio station.

In 2006
the sound becomes more solid because of another membership change.. Now it consists mainly from "Boney Nem" musicians. The song called "Den` Pobedy" is rotated on "Nashe Radio" broadcasting station.

2007
The new programme is being prepared. The band continues to take part in different festivals and also to organize the most large-scale concerts in Saint- Petersburg. The new album is being recorded.

2008
the second album of U.R.B. "ACKEEMAMA"- " Nayti I Obezvredit`" is published on "Kap Kan records". Billy Novik from the " Billy`s Band" took part in recording of one of the songs(" Malen`kaya Lyubov`" ). Later the music video was shot. It won the first place on international video contest "LOVECOLA" in "the most realistic love video" nomination. This video took part in " 10 music videos of all times and nations" TV programme . 2008 - a live album is recorded.

2009
The live album is getting ready to publishing. The traditional reggae festivals , such as "Bob Marley`s Birthday" and " Pushkin Reggae Fest"are being prepared.
